Koskela at Rosebery

The new Koskela space in Dunning Avenue, Rosebery. After months in the making, the results are incredible. So much space! So many beautifully crafted things!

It's wonderful to see their ever-expanding commitment to projects with Indigenous Australian artists, such as Tjanpi and Elcho Island weavers (baskets on table, and woven pendant lights, above, respectively) and Regina Pilawuk Wilson's beautiful textile designs on linen and silk, third and fourth from bottom. I was lucky enough to be involved with the latter project and witness its fantastic collaborative process from start to finish. More on that here.

Loom rugs, Kate Banazi prints and Rachel Castle linen are icing on the cake. Speaking of cake, there's a delicious Ottolenghi-esque lunch on offer next door via Kitchen by Mike.  I had red cabbage & walnut salad and figs & prosciutto, olive foccacia and a piccolo latte and was pretty much in heaven by the time I started perusing the furniture & textiles...HF.
